Early Access
Early Access Publication is a strategy aligned with best editorial practices that facilitates early access to scientific output, promoting the continuous updating of knowledge in the field of communication and information.
The Revista de Ciencias de la Comunicación e Información implements this practice with the goal of accelerating the dissemination of scientific knowledge. Through this modality, the scientific community can immediately access new research without having to wait for the complete publication of an issue.
In this way, articles approved after the peer review and editorial editing process become available on our platform with their assigned DOI, ensuring their citability and recognition within the scientific community.
Therefore, research that has successfully passed all stages of the editorial process can be accessed in this section and referenced before its inclusion in a final issue. Once the year corresponding to these articles begins, they are removed from this section and displayed in the Home section as part of the current issue.
Citation Considerations
For citation and citation counting purposes, the information from the "How to cite" section within the full-text article should be used, as the metadata in the HTML format may not exactly match the final document.
