Open access policy
Revista de Ciencias de la Comunicación e información is an open access, free and non-profit scientific publication, committed to the dissemination of knowledge without economic restrictions for authors or readers. We do not apply charges for article processing (APC) or for access to published content.
In accordance with the principles of Diamond Open Access, RCCI guarantees immediate and free access to all its articles under the CC-BY-NC 4.0 License (Creative Commons Attribution/Non Commercial 4.0 International). This allows users to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the published material, as long as credit is given and non-commercial uses are respected; which encourages greater global knowledge sharing. We also inform that RCCI is adhered to the Declaración de Berlín (Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in Science and Humanities), reaffirming its commitment to the democratization of scientific knowledge.
Interoperability protocol
RCCI has interoperability protocols that guarantee its integration with various indexing systems, repositories and content aggregators, facilitating its dissemination and visibility in the academic environment. We implement standards such as OAI-PMH and RSS, which allows the collection and distribution of our contents in specialized open access platforms.
Our goal is to ensure that scientific production in the field of communication and information is globally accessible, fostering a free, inclusive and high quality exchange of knowledge.
